ANITA VISITS GERMANY
Volkswagen in Germany has a visitor centre - Autostad. It has many interesting and innovative pavillions - most of course based around auotomotive topics. In one of the pavilions, visitors have the opportunity to be fitted into this gravity machine and experience the effects of the G forces on the body in the event of a motor car accident. Generally only one visitor show per hour is allowed, and at the time when Anita and Friedhelm went, they had just finished for the day. However, it appears that Friedhelm is a sweet talker, and managed to convince the fellow in charge that it was good PR to enable this visitor from Australia to have a turn, and so he granted the request.
